The 29-year-old singer and her entourage were forced to make an emergency landing after being caught in a severe storm while traveling to the country’s capital, Asuncion.
Sharing a brief video of the incident with followers on Instagram, passengers could be heard gasping in shock as the fuselage was lit up by lightning after the impact.

In the caption to the clip, she wrote: “To my fans and to everyone who was alarmed to hear about my flight to Asuncion. Our plane got into a strong unexpected storm and was struck by lightning.
“My team, group, friends and family who traveled with me are safe after the crash landing. Unfortunately, we were unable to fly to Paraguay.”
The singer is currently touring South America with her Attention Tour and made her last stage appearance during Lollapalooza Argentina at the San Ysidro Speedway on March 19th.
