Endless Summer Vacation, releasing March 10th. The song about selflove caught the attention of netizens, who noted several references from the blonde to her exhusband, Liam Hemsworth. According to fans, she even used a sample from one of the Aussie’s favorite songs… Gosh!
“Flowers” tells the story of a person who has freed himself from the emotional bonds of an old relationship. Cyrus sings that she can buy flowers, dance and talk to herself and love herself more than anyone has ever loved her. The tune sounded familiar to some of the singer’s admirers, who quickly linked it to the Bruno Mars hit song “When I Was Your Man,” the actor’s favorite song. Liam even dedicated the song to Miley. To top it off, the blonde’s track was well received on Hemsworth’s birthday.
Miley is the devil right? Her ex (Liam) sent her “when I was your husband”, she replied “Flowers” and posted it ON HIS BIRTHDAY.

In another clip, the blonde clearly alludes to the wildfire that destroyed the home she and Liam lived in in Malibu, California: “We were right until we weren’t anymore. We built a house and watched it burn.” The incident happened in 2018 and weeks later the two were married. However, the marriage lasted only 8 months. In 2021, during an interview with The Howard Stern Show, the singer opened up about the delicate moment: “We were engaged. I don’t know if we really thought we were going to get married, but when we lost our house in Malibu… I lost everything […] I clung to what was left of this house, which was me and him.”
