Miley Cyrus is celebrating the international success of her latest release Flowers, which has now reached number one in 13 countries from Australia to the US.

The tune is an up-tempo revenge song after Liam Hemsworth’s divorce.

The 30-year-old singer posed in a little black mini dress with a plunging neckline and long bell sleeves in photos posted to social media. The Hannah Montana star’s long blonde hair was tied back in a loose bun, with the tendril framing her face in front.

Miley wrote her fans a thank you letter. “Celebrating that Flowers are back around the world this week!

“I love that this record connects in such a positive way and it’s my pleasure to keep making music for you. These milestones are only made possible by the audience and my incredible fans. Infinitely grateful.”

Miley then listed the countries: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, UK and US Billboard Hot 100.

BBC Radio One, which helped propel the song about breakup and self-love to the top of the UK Singles Chart, wrote: “YESSSSSS ❤️‍❤️‍❤️‍.”

In the US, the people of I Heart Radio joined in with “thankful for YOU ❤️”. DJ Diplo commented “#1 in my heart”.
