Miley Cyrus released the very racy music video for her new single Flowers on Thursday, the coincident 33rd birthday of her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth.
The pop song’s lyrics allude to her failed relationship with Australian hunk, including a double entendre about Miley watching their marriage and “burning down” the Malibu home they once shared.
“We were right / til we weren’t / built a home and seen it burn,” she sings while strutting down a graffiti-covered bridge in vintage YSL and big black sunglasses.
In November 2018, their home was completely destroyed by the devastating Woolsey Fire. They married a month later but separated after less than a year.
The pair have been on and off for almost a decade, having met on the set of their film The Last Song (2010) when Miley was 17 and Liam was 19.

But now Miley is the symbol of self-love as she splutters out, “I can buy flowers / write my name in the sand / talk to myself for hours / see things you don’t understand.”
The video begins with stills of the Los Angeles skyline at dusk before the camera pans to Cyrus in a shimmering gold hooded dress with a sexy plunging neckline.
Her bleach blonde hair is barely visible and designer sunglasses hide her doe eyes during the confident strut.
Switching from somber to upbeat, Miley rips off the hood of her dress and ties her hair up as she wanders through LA’s Runyon Canyon in a pair of sky-high heels for the remainder of the chorus.

She continues, “I can make myself dance / I can hold my own hand / Yes, I can love myself better than / Yes, I can love myself better than you.”
Miley bounces up a paved road before cutting into footage of the star in the backyard of her sprawling Studio City home.
She dances on the lawn in skimpy black lingerie while sprinklers spray her.
The Plastic Hearts hitmaker takes an impressive dip in her resort-style pool and swims to the shallow end.
She then appears with her toned body stretched out on the edge of the pool, giving viewers a closer look at her black lacy bra and panties.
Miley’s hair is soaking wet and brushed away from her face as she fondles her figure seductively for the song’s second verse: “Paint my nails, cherry red / Match the roses that you left / No remorse, no repentance / I forget every word you said.” “
It jumps into the second chorus with footage of Miley, still clad in her skimpy black two-piece suit, demonstrating her intense fitness routine that includes battle rope exercises, resistance training and some very suggestive hip thrusts.
The next scene shows Miley with her bottom bare while she takes a steamy shower.
She raises her hands in the air and lets water flow down her body from the shower head.
Miley reappears in a white robe and with her hair pinned up in a bath towel as she aggressively ransacks her closet.
The damp haired beauty chooses to go topless under an oversized black blazer styled with matching trousers and sandals.
