Miley Cyrus says she feels ‘good’ after testing positive for COVID-19 just days before the Grammy Awards.
“When you’re traveling around the world, playing in front of 100,000 people every night and meeting hundreds of fans every day, the chances of contracting Covid are pretty high,” said the 29-year-old “Angels Like You” singer. tweeted on Fridayadding: “I have Covid now but it was definitely worth it.”
in the a follow-up tweetCyrus added that she can no longer perform at the sold out fourth annual Janie’s Fund event, “which sucks because it’s a charity that’s really important to me and my friend Steven Tyler.”

“I’m fine, so don’t worry! Sorry Steven!” she finished. “We must ‘walk this way’ some other time!”
Janie’s Fund was created by Steven Tyler and aims to “bring hope and healing to girls who have suffered the trauma of abuse and neglect so that these vulnerable girls will have a lasting voice for years to come.”

Cyrus’ news comes on the same day that she released her first-ever live album, Attention: Miley Live, which includes new songs “Attention” and “You,” as well as previous hits like “We Can’t Stop” and “Where.” contains Is My Mind”, plus “Wrecking Ball” and “Nothing Compares”.
Cyrus also covers a number of songs popularized by other artists, including Blondie’s “Heart of Glass,” Dolly Parton’s “Jolene,” and Madonna’s “Like a Prayer.”

The singer-actress shared her excitement about “Attention: Miley Live” in her social media message to fans, noting that the show recorded for the album was “curated by the fans, FOR the fans!”
“My fans have been asking me for a live album for a long time and I’m so excited to give it to them!” the singer wrote alongside a clip of the official video for “Attention” on Sunday.

She continued, in part, “I asked my audience what songs they would like to see me do on upcoming shows and this is the set list THEY made! YOU” & ATTENTION!”
The star, who celebrated her 16th Hannah Montana anniversary last month, told her supporters: “This is not just MY live album, this is OUR album! My fans and I collaborated on this setlist! I put together a show and tried to fulfill as many wishes as possible! I love you so much!”
“Thank you for all of your loyalty and support over the last 16 years! This record is the least I can do to try and show my appreciation for your dedication! We’ll be in this together forever!” Cyrus wrote.
