Millennials are more likely to spend money on airline tickets despite inflation

The rising cost of living is causing Canadians to rethink their spending priorities. But that doesn’t mean they’re abandoning all travel plans, especially millennials, according to a recent study.

According to FlightHub data collected since early November, Millennials are actually the generation that spends the most money on airline tickets.

You would spend an average of 1433.29% per single purchase to fly to another destination.

In contrast, baby boomers limit themselves slightly more, spending an average of $1,187.14 per purchase.

Generations

So when determining cost differences, the fact remains that all generations have the same preferred travel destinations, which are the United States and then Canada.

India ranks third in the ranking across all generations. European countries such as Germany, France and Spain are also privileged.
