Millie Bobby Brown won’t be turning into a bridezilla thanks to her fiancé Jake Bongiovi, who she revealed is “very involved” in her wedding plans, making the affair a stress-free affair for her.
The 19-year-old Stranger Things actress announced in April that she was engaged to 21-year-old Jake – son of rock star Jon Bon Jovi – after two years of dating.
While Millie hasn’t confirmed whether a date has been set for the “intimate” ceremony, she revealed on Friday’s episode of the Today show that the couple are largely sharing plans.
While promoting her new book “Nineteen Steps,” released earlier this week, with Jenna Bush Hager, 41, and Hoda Kotb, 59, she said, “It wasn’t stressful for me at all.”

The 19-year-old Stranger Things actress, who has been dating her significant other for more than two years, announced their engagement in April
“Jake is very dedicated, he is very helpful throughout the whole process.” I never felt alone there, which I think is nice.
“I’m like, ‘Is this a good idea?'” But ultimately it’s a very intimate day for both of us and we’re excited.”
Host Hoda was keen to know whether 61-year-old Livin’ On A Prayer hitmaker Jon Bon Jovi would be performing on the big day.
“I feel like this is like asking me to do a full game for everyone,” Millie replied, adding: “I think the man needs a break, he doesn’t stop.” “He always takes tennis or singing lessons.”
“He may just be the groom’s father!” Jenna joked.
“Exactly,” Millie agreed. “That would be wild… I don’t know if he’ll be able to do exactly that.”
This isn’t the first time Millie has expressed her excitement about her big day.
Speaking to Women’s Wear Daily last month, the star mentioned that she preferred to keep the wedding low-key.

She told Today hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Hager Bush that their wedding will be “intimate.”
The young couple met on Instagram and started dating in 2021. Millie said she knew straight away that Jake was “the one.”
“I can say that the planning is underway,” she told the publication. “It’s so much fun. And it’s such an exciting time in my life.”
“It just feels unnatural to me to have everyone’s opinions and eyes on it,” she said of wedding planning.
“That’s why I think it’s important to keep these things – these little, precious moments in life – really close to your chest.”
Millie and Jake announced their engagement on Instagram earlier this year after dating for two years.
Last month she told the Sunday Times that he proposed to her with a ring from her mother Kelly.
“I always loved that ring, it always caught my eye, so she gave it to Jake,” Millie said.

“They were in cahoots about the whole proposal. “I love that I can always keep a piece of my mother with me.”
The couple met on Instagram and began a relationship in 2021. Millie said she knew straight away that Jake was “the one.”
She said: “I was interested in him and wanted to know more.” As soon as we spoke, I knew he would be a big part of my life.
“I ran to my mom and said, ‘I really, really like him!’ “After we met, we knew we never wanted to leave each other.”
She continued: “You can’t put your finger on why, it’s just the feeling of knowing that this is the person you want to spend the rest of your time with.”
“I think so much of life is overthinking.” The only thing that made clear sense to me was him. So I didn’t really have to think too much.’
Millie rose to fame as Eleven in the hit Netflix series Stranger Things before landing roles in the Enola Holmes and Godzilla franchises.
She also founded her own skin care and beauty line, Florence by Mills.
