Millie Bobby Brown goes back to basics – fashion, that is.
While the Stranger Things star may be known for walking down the red carpet in glitzy and glamorous designs, her latest look proves that a simple outfit can be oh-so-chic.
Taking to Instagram on September 22, Millie posed in a white bra, which she paired with loose, ripped jeans, which she cheekily left unbuttoned and open. She kept the rest of her look casual, leaving her feet bare and accessorizing only with dainty earrings and black-framed sunglasses.
The Enola Holmes star’s glamor was also an understatement. Millie styled her hair in a messy bun and textured fringe bangs that complemented her nude lips and fresh face.

Between the scenic view and Millie’s clothes, everything was very reminiscent of a Calvin Klein ad.

However, her adorable fashion moment comes a month after she opened up about experiencing online bullying for just being herself.
“It’s really hard to be hated when you don’t know who you are,” the Florence by Mills founder told Allure in an interview published Aug. 10. “So it’s like, ‘What do you hate about me?’ Because I don’t know who I am.'”
As the 18-year-old explained, “It’s almost like saying, ‘Okay, I’m going to try to be like this today.’ [And then they say], ‘Oh no, I hate that.’ ‘OK. Forget that. I’ll try to be like that today.’ ‘Oh dear God! I hate it when you do that.” Then you just start shutting down because you’re like, ‘Who am I supposed to be? Who do you want me to be?’”
However, she cited a support system that helped her during this exploration phase.
“It helped to understand that I don’t have to be anything they said I have to be,” she added. “I just have to develop within myself. That’s what I did… that’s what I do.”
