Millie Mackintosh reveals she had breast augmentation surgery three months ago and accuses ‘cruel’ trolls of ‘suppressing’ her by accusing her of a ‘secret boob job’.

Millie Mackintosh has revealed she had a breast augmentation three months ago after cruel trolls accused her of a ‘secret breast job’.

The Made In Chelsea star, 33, has opened up for the first time about why she decided to have the procedure and said she was “thrilled” with the results.

She insisted she “had no intention” of hiding the fact that she had undergone breast augmentation as she discussed the surgery in an open letter in Grazia.

Breast augmentation, also known as boob surgery, involves placing implants in the breasts to enlarge or change their shape.

Millie said she was accused of “secretly” undergoing the procedure by “cruel” trolls and claimed they “squashed” her with their harsh comments.

She said: “I had no illusions that it would go unnoticed and I had no intention of hiding the decision, which I made with the full support of my family and after much research.”

“Being in the public eye is a double-edged sword!” “No matter what approach I take — honest or mysterious (and repressed, of course) — someone will always have something to say,” she continued.

“Personally, I find it more damaging to make tweaks/procedures and then lie and pretend the results are naturally achievable.”

Millie said she felt it was important to deal with the speculation about whether she’s undergone improvement, rather than “hide” from it.

She gushed that she was thrilled with the results and said she didn’t want to hide how happy she was with her “extremely informed” decision.

Discussing why she wanted the improvement, Millie said it helped her reconnect with herself before breastfeeding her two children – Sienna, two, and Aurelia, one, with whom she is husband Hugo Taylor shares.

She said that she has long been insecure about her breasts and has always promised herself that she would have her breasts removed before deciding after the birth of her children that it was the right time.

Millie said she had the surgery to boost her confidence and said she feels like herself again after the surgery earlier this year.

The reality TV star also opened up about receiving some “cruel” comments from trolls on social media and admitted the hurtful news hit her.

She also criticized people for not being a “feminist” because of her decision to have cosmetic surgery, arguing that feminism should be about freedom of choice.

In the UK, breast implants are not generally available on the NHS except in a few special circumstances, for example if someone has very uneven breasts.

According to the NHS, breast augmentation surgery in the UK typically costs around £3,500 to £8,000, which doesn’t include the cost of consultations or aftercare.
