He continued, “I didn’t want to date anyone because I was married. We never dated until Bobby and I left our marriage.’

“He’s also in the real estate business,” Flagg told People.

Earlier this week, Flagg announced on Instagram that he’d bought a $9.2 million 7,100-square-foot mansion in Beverly Hills for himself.

He told People: “The new house is very special because it’s a 1926 Italian Palladian villa that hasn’t been on the market for over 60 years.”

Flagg added, “I’ve been after this house for years.”

The Bravo star noted that his move-in date is yet to be determined as he estimated it would take around three years to refurbish the mansion.

Flagg said he plans to focus on his new home and career after his divorce. He also expressed his well wishes for Boyd and his hope that they can remain friends.

“Right now I’m thinking about the house I just bought and the business I built and going back to normal life,” he said.

‘I feel very good. I hope Bobby is doing well too. My greatest hope is that everyone emerges happy and friends, appreciating the great time we had together and moving forward in a positive way.

On March 5, Flagg announced that he and Boyd were divorcing and broke the news to the public through an Instagram post.

“Bobby and I are getting a divorce — This may sound abrupt, but I felt like I should be transparent from above rather than burying the headline,” he began his post.

“It wasn’t a hasty or impulsive decision. We did a lot of thinking before coming to this conclusion,” continued the top-grossing LA realtor.

Flagg also stressed that the split was amicable and the two still care deeply about each other.

“It wasn’t a lack of love, but we’re both growing in different directions and wanting different things for ourselves,” he continued.

“We both taught each other so much during our relationship and learned so much about ourselves.”
