Prince Harry and Meghan Markle make millions — but don't like spending their own money, multiple sources tell Page Six
Her latest free gift, Page Six has learned, was a private jet that flew her to Vancouver, Canada, for a three-day trip to promote the start of the 2025 Invictus Games for wounded military personnel.
The couple landed in Vancouver on Tuesday on a 10-seat Bombardier Challenger 605 chartered from a local private aviation company. Page Six is told they were “guests” on the flight.
A source who has worked with the duo told Page Six, “They certainly don't like spending their own money,” and another well-informed insider added, “It's always other people's money.”
The trip to British Columbia is to promote the Invictus Games for wounded soldiers, which will be held there next year. It is not known who paid to charter the jet that took them from Santa Barbara. The couple usually fly privately with friends – ostensibly, as Harry said, for security reasons – and often use their rich friends' houses.
The trip to Canada was the latest use of a foreign jet by the couple, who could not be reached for comment.
Last October, they flew on a private jet to NYC for a conference on the dangers of social media for children and then for a getaway to the Caribbean island of Canouan. It is not known who paid for this trip.

In November, they flew to Vegas for a Katy Perry concert aboard Texas oil heir Michael Herd's plane, along with his wife, billionaire and Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd, along with celebrities Cameron Diaz and her husband Benji Madden and Zoe Saldana.
And in January, the couple traveled to Jamaica on a private jet with Paramount CEO Brian Robbins and his fashion designer wife Tracy for the premiere of the Bob Marley biopic “One Love.”

We understand that when they're in Los Angeles for work or meetings, they often stay at makeup millionaire Victoria Jackson's house.
Their infamous claim of taking part in a spooky paparazzi chase last May came while they were staying in a private home on the Upper East Side, and they also stayed in lawyer Barry's New York apartment during their UN visit Bloom.
And after stepping away from royal duties, they stayed in movie mogul Tyler Perry's $18 million LA home during their first move to the US.

They also planned their escape from the royal family at Russian oligarch Yuri Milner's luxurious Canadian retreat on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, over Christmas and New Year's 2019.
The Duke and Duchess were banned from accepting freebies when they worked in the royal service – but Page Six told how she turned a set of diamonds she gave Harry from the Middle East into a small ring and earrings.
Markle has also worn clothes from the Staud collection by Sarah Staudinger, the wife of WME boss Ari Emmanuel, who is now the former “Suits” star's Hollywood agent. Markle wore the clothing to an LA Lakers game, but it is unknown if she paid for the items.

“She definitely has the Hollywood mentality: 'If I wear your brand, it will increase sales,'” said the well-informed insider.
And when their new website Sussex.com launched this week, a palace source said: “It's basically saying, 'Look at us…don't forget that we are, above all, royal.'”
Cash has long been a concern for the couple. Acclaimed royal writer Valentine Low revealed in his book Courtiers that during an official tour of Australia and Fiji in 2018, Markle told staff: “I can't believe I'm not getting paid for this.”

Harry told Oprah Winfrey that they couldn't move to the US without his mother, Princess Diana's, inheritance.
“I have what my mother left me, and without that we couldn't have done this,” Harry said, referring to his half share of her 1997 estate.
She left him and Prince William about $10 million each, which was invested on their behalf and would have been worth far more than he earned in 2014 at age 30.

But in reality, he also received a “significant” check from his father, the then Prince Charles, when he left the UK. It is unknown whether he also received an inheritance from his beloved grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, or his grandfather, Prince Philip.
And when they stepped away from royal duties, the couple quickly struck multi-million dollar deals with podcast platform Spotify and streamer Netflix, buying a $14.6 million Montecito estate with a $9.5 million mortgage -Dollar.
Shortly thereafter, Harry signed a $20 million deal with Penguin Random House for his memoir, which was the best-selling book of 2023 on Amazon, and two other books.

Despite losing their Spotify deal last summer – Spotify boss Bill Simmons called them “fucking grifters” – their Netflix deal is still going strong, they say, despite rumors to the contrary.
Markle is working on new projects for the streamer and Harry's Africa documentary is still under wraps, according to Page Six.
Markle also announced Tuesday that she has inked her first deal since signing with Emanuel: a new podcast deal with Lemonada Media.

Under the agreement, Lemonada will distribute the first season of Markle's “Archetypes” series across all audio platforms starting this spring and develop a new, as-yet-unnamed original podcast series hosted by Markle.
However, another source who has worked with the couple said: “Lemonada is a small company, it's definitely not a big deal.”
“This is probably more of a production deal to try to correct the Grifter narrative.”
