Milo Yiannopoulos is out following power struggles in Kanye West’s 2024 presidential campaign

Far-right provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos was fired from the informal 2024 presidential campaign of Ye, the music star formerly known as Kanye West.

The downfall of Yiannopoulos follows a series of disastrous media appearances for the disgraced rapper, as well as power struggles in western orbit. Last week, Ye stormed out of an interview with YouTube personality Tim Pool, repeatedly praising Adolf Hitler and the Nazis in an appearance on InfoWars.

Yiannopoulos insisted he had decided to leave Yes’s operation alone.

“You and I have come to the common conclusion that I should retire from his political team,” Yiannopoulos told The Daily Beast on Sunday afternoon. “I will continue to pray for Ye and all his efforts.”

Yiannopoulos held a campaign manager-style role within the operation and was the first operational West to be brought in. After Yiannopoulos was hired, other far-right figures were hired, including white nationalist Nick Fuentes and racist YouTuber “Sneako”.

Unlike Fuentes and far-right activist Ali Alexander, Yiannopoulos did not appear during Yes’s InfoWars broadcast, an early sign that he was on his way out.

Yiannopoulos’ departure marks the latest intrigue in the rapper camp, as far-right activists vie for influence over the wealthy rapper — and for private jet travel and other perks that come with it.

“It’s like Game of Thrones, and every day is the Red Wedding,” said a conservative figure familiar with Ye’s Entourage’s internal politics.

Even before Yiannopoulos was released, tensions between him and Fuentes had become public. After Yiannopoulos told NBC News that Fuentes was taken to Mar-a-Lago for dinner with Donald Trump to “make Trump’s life miserable,” Fuentes contradicted him.

Claims surfaced in far-right media on Sunday afternoon that Yiannopoulos had been sacked after he tried to “move” some power against Fuentes.

Yiannopoulos denied this claim.

“Any suggestion that I’ve tried to fire anyone is false – especially people I brought here who owe me their gratitude, loyalty and respect,” Yiannopoulos told The Daily Beast.

Then the far-right troll went on the attack.

“I’m not in the least attracted to perks and private jets,” Yiannopoulos said. “Maybe the others.”

Fuentes did not respond to The Daily Beast’s request for comment.

As allegations swirl about why the far-right troll got the boot, Yiannopoulos told The Daily Beast he has “concerns about a potential re-hiring” but would not name the person in question.

Yiannopoulos oddly fit into Ye’s camp in part because he had a history of beating up the rapper before joining him. Far-right activist Laura Loomer, who is at odds with Yiannopoulos, recently leaked direct messages allegedly showing Yiannopoulos insisting Ye is gay.

Yiannopoulos has also had a history of secretly recording his former allies, once boasting that he has a hard drive full of compromising phone calls and other information on every “public figure” he has ever interacted with.
