Milton Nascimento talks about leaving the stage: ‘I’ll stop doing shows, but I won’t stop composing or singing’

During the conversation with Maju Coutinho, the singer talks about the “Clube da Esquina”, which turned 50 this year and won the title of best Brazilian music album in a vote attended by 160 journalists, critics and music professionals. Milton commented on the decision to leave the stage:

“I’ll stop doing shows like that, touring, but I won’t stop writing or singing. And if anything happens in life, I’ll come back,” says Milton.

Milton Nascimento: There is something that makes me tremble, but there is no such thing as a disease, no.
Maju Coutinho: This tremor is not a disease.
