Minedu discusses the controversy between the FPF and Gol Peru

Last week, the Peru Football Federation announced the start of the bidding process for the League 1 broadcasting rights. This fact provoked the reaction of some top division clubs as well as football-related organizations (ADFP) who warned about the way in the game that this process develops.

This statement has just been added Minister of Education Rosendo Serna, who reported that he will take some measures. The Minedu representative assured that he had some idea on the subject but would request a report from the Peruvian Sports Institute (IPD) respecting the privacy and independence of the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF).

“The FPF acts as a private entity and develops all its activities in this way. I know some things, but I didn’t go into detail. Everything has to be done within the law. I will ask, within the limits of the law, that they give me a detailed report of what is going on,” he told Radio Ovación.
