They felt pretty fearless.

The Minnesota Vikings made fun of Taylor Swift’s absence during their game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

The now-viral TikTok – posted on ESPN’s official site – has received nearly 2.2 million views. In the clip, Viktor the Viking pushes a metal cabinet before it falls over, causing the mascot to look around guiltily before running away.

“Was Taylor Swift in there?” read the caption in the video, which is about the “Anti-Hero” singer arriving at her “Eras Tour” concerts in a cleaning closet to avoid her legions of fans to be harassed.

ESPN’s video sparked a mixed reaction in the video’s comments section. Several users claimed: “I hope so.”

“Why are all these people saying they hope she was in there like they’re crazy for no reason?” a second person asked.

A third user joked that the Vikings, who lost to the Chiefs in a 27-20 game, posted the video because of the loss.

The video also pays homage to a previous viral TikTok shot at Arrowhead Stadium, showing employees rolling a giant gray box decorated with a giant bag of popcorn. Some viewers at the time jokingly thought that Swift might be hidden in the car. She attended the Chiefs’ game against the Chicago Bears and was later seen leaving the stadium with 34-year-old Kelce.

Swift’s rumored romance with the Chiefs tight end began after the two-time Super Bowl champion complained that he didn’t give her his number during their “Eras Tour” stop in Kansas City in July.

The “Bejeweled” singer, who is currently taking a break from her record-breaking tour, caused a stir online when she showed up at Arrowhead Stadium to cheer him on alongside his mother, Donna Kelce.

Swift attended her second Chiefs game on October 1 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. She visited her famous friends, including recently single Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner, 27, Blake Lively, 36, Hugh Jackman, 54, and Ryan Reynolds, 46, watching the Chiefs narrowly beat the New York Jets Defeated 23 to 20.

Director Shawn Levy was also there and later described the “frenzy” as a bit “depressing” for him.

Kelce, for his part, has navigated the whirlwind romance with “Style,” claiming he wanted to focus media attention on football and not the couple’s “final.” David Berding/Getty Images As of Monday morning, the video had nearly 2.2 million views.TikTok/@espn

“I can do 50 more successful movies and series and still be known as the guy in the orange suede jacket who goes to the Chiefs-Jets game with Taylor and others,” he told Variety days later.

“It was as simple as, ‘Wait, can we go to an NFL game with our buddies?’ Let’s do it.’ We suspected there might be others, but nothing prepared us for the insane amount of attention this trip brought,” he added. “Very fun evening but definitely I knew famous people but Taylor is definitely a cultural magnet unlike anything I’ve ever seen.”

Kelce, for his part, wants to “respect” both him and Swift in the future as they continue to make headlines.

“She’s not in the media as much as I am, doing this show every week and having fun on other guys’ shows during the NFL season,” he said on a recent episode of his “New Heights” podcast. “Anything that goes on, I think when I talk about sports … I kind of have to keep it where I keep it.”

Chiefs general manager Mark Donovan, meanwhile, said Kelce is “focused on the right things and doing it right” when it comes to the extra attention he has received.

“Travis is a smart team player,” Donovan, who joined the Chiefs as chief operating officer in 2009 and was promoted to president in 2011, recently told People. “He can handle it and was very professional.”
