Miranda Lambert again took a moment to address a fan in the crowd on Saturday night (July 22), but this time she wanted to compliment him.

The country star, who performed at the Zappos Theater during her Miranda Lambert: Velvet Rodeo The Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, spotted something in the audience that amused her.

“Her shirt says, ‘Shoot tequila, no selfies,'” Lambert announced on stage.

“She did. I didn’t,” she said, laughing.

Last weekend, Lambert interrupted her Vegas concert during “Tin Man” to call a group of fans who she believed were “worried about their selfie and not listening to the song.” “It’s getting on my nerves a bit,” Lambert said at the time. “I’m sorry, I don’t like it. Ever.” One of the viewers, whose mid-show selfies upset Lambert, later told NBC News she was “appalled” by the singer’s reaction, saying, “It felt like I was back in school where the teacher was scolding me for doing something wrong and telling me to get back in my seat.”

But what Lambert saw in the crowd that weekend seemed to put her in good spirits: “That’s bad…” she commented on the t-shirt, which read, “Shoot tequila, no selfies.” She then leaned down and accepted a miniature bottle of what was probably tequila, said “Cheers” and took a sip from the bottle.
