Mirianne Brûlé opens up about breastfeeding her 3-year-old daughter

Like Mélissa Bédard recently, actress Mirianne Brûlé has decided to address the issue of prolonged breastfeeding.

“I hesitated to do this post because I risk having tomatoes thrown at me. But then I said to myself, if we can’t use social media to talk about real business, what’s the point?” she says first.

She says: “Weaning my daughter from breastfeeding was just as difficult as starting breastfeeding. She was addicted to milk and it was quite a journey to get her to quit by going back bit by bit. When she was a year old I stopped breastfeeding at night, there was still drinking in the morning, in the evening and sometimes solace … and silently we stopped feedings one by one … She will be 3 and very soon I can say that we have succeeded. Now I just breastfeed her every now and then for fun before bed, she tells mom I want to be your little baby and drink the milk ♥️”

“I chose to breastfeed longer because I wanted to listen to my daughter and her needs and felt comfortable doing so. I don’t care if you’re for it or against it. I just wanted to share my experience to show that it exists,” she adds.

She concludes, “Breastfeeding is natural, it’s also a personal choice. Stop asking moms when you stop? As if feeding and comforting your child after a while was so awful. »

You should know that we are currently in the middle of World Breastfeeding Week; So there was no better time to get this message about breastfeeding becoming normal.
