NBA – Rajon Rondo was arrested in Indiana last weekend for possession of a firearm and marijuana in his car. He was later released on bail.

Two years ago, the mother of Rondo District had filed a protective order against the former Celtics and Lakers point guard, accusing him of threatening her with a weapon.

Ultimately, the two camps reached an agreement, which spared the basketball player from having to go to trial before a judge.

This time the two-time NBA champion (2008 and 2020) will not succeed because he was arrested in Indiana last weekend. While he was driving, Rajon Rondo was pulled over by police in Jackson County, just north of Louisville, for a traffic violation. L

The officer quickly smelled marijuana in the vehicle and began searching the car, finding a firearm, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Following his arrest, Rajon Rondo was released on bail while he was charged with illegal possession of a firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, minor misdemeanors.

Due to a protective order, the 37-year-old basketball player is prohibited from owning a weapon.
