After winning Miss Universe Brazil, 19yearold Maria Brechane from Rio Grande do Sul has already started preparing for the world stage of the competition. The first change, she announces, was the look. The model lightened the strands and increased the waves at the ends, leaving her hair black and very straight.
“I’m loving living this new chapter in my life. This change made me even more confident in preparing for Miss Universe. I really liked the result,” said Maria, who was “even more enlightened” by the hands of hairstylist and makeup artist Tony Siqueira.

Maria won the Miss Universe Brazil pageant last Sunday the 9th. She is the 15th Miss from Rio Grande do Sul to win the competition. The Gaúcha is not only a model, but also studies journalism.
There is no fixed date for Miss Universe, but it will take place in El Salvador in the second half of the year.
