On Saturday (8) Sasha Bauer, Miss Santa Catarina, presented a typical costume of a “peasant from Santa Catarina” in the national pageant. “The Peasant of Santa Catarina is a reinterpretation of the costume worn by Vera Fisher in 1969 when Santa Catarina won her first national crown. In addition to preserving the traditions of German farmers on festival days, the costume also celebrates the culture that strengthens tourism in the country,” the moderators explained.
Sasha Bauer, who holds the most enduring title of Queen of the Oktoberfest in Blumenau, was in the top 16 of the Miss Brasil 2023 competition. In the second phase of the competition, which saw six candidates selected, the Santa Catarina native walked off the stage.
