Missing 16 year old German found dead in South World

A 16-year-old German tourist was found dead during a search operation in Innichen in the Puster Valley of South Tyrol on Friday. This was reported by the South Tyrolean media. The young man allegedly left his family's holiday accommodation to go for a walk in the morning and never returned. Finally, she was found by a dog from the mountain rescue service's canine team in Innichberg, below a forest path in rough terrain, it was said.

Resuscitation attempts were unsuccessful. An emergency room doctor was only able to determine that the girl was dead. The exact cause of death was initially unclear. An autopsy was ordered by the Bolzano Public Prosecutor's Office. According to information that has not yet been confirmed, the 16-year-old may have slipped and fallen on the icy path.
