The Montreal Police (SPVM), in collaboration with the Longueuil Agglomeration Police (SPAL), will deploy a command post for the second time to obtain information on the disappearance of an octogenarian who has been missing for almost a year.
Félicien Laforce has been missing in Montreal since mid-December 2022. The 1.71 m tall and 77 kg man is said to suffer from cognitive impairment. He has gray hair and blue eyes. At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a dark hat, a dark winter coat with a fur collar, dark trousers and black boots.
According to police, the man, who speaks French, was walking and taking public transport when he disappeared.
SPVM and SPAL investigators will set up a mobile command post at the corner of Roberval Boulevard West and Richmond Street in Longueuil starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday morning.
“Investigators are inviting anyone who may have witnessed his disappearance to meet them at the scene,” the SPVM said in a press release.
Recall that the two police forces set up a command post in Montreal last June.
