Mitsou, Abeille and Noémie Gélinas are mourning the death of their father, actor Alain Gélinas, we learned on Wednesday.

The one that we could see in productions like matter of life, Cordelia, human earth and Caleb’s daughters died on October 31 at the age of 78 in the comfort of his home.
In a post published on his personal blog, Mitsou wrote a poignant text to pay tribute to the one who gave life to him.
Through the touching words she used, the businesswoman revealed that she and her family had very little time to process the bad news:
“A hurricane has swept through us in recent weeks, but we experienced it together, which is a treasure in itself. Between the first abdominal pain, a visit to the emergency room, the biopsy, a book previewed in a hospital room, a doctor giving three to six months, then the first signs of agony and finally his last breath, it’s only been 32 days.
As a tribute, Abeille Gélinas wrote the following on her Instagram account:
“Creator of beauty, anchored man and a little wild, that’s how we met Alain Gélinas. In simplicity, he spent his last hours at home, in his nature that he loved so much, surrounded by his daughters Mitsou, Noémie and Abeille and his wife Lidou.
He closed his beautiful blue eyes on October 31st at the age of 78. His illness was surprisingly devastating, but his end of life was conscious and filled with love. Father clown, dear grandfather, friend and lover, Alain promised us that he would go in peace, content with his existence.
Like Alain, his funeral will be held in the utmost privacy. His ashes are buried at the roots of a larch tree planted on his land in his honor. Thanks for just sending him sweet thoughts.

Mitsou’s magazine Instagram account also shared some touching pictures to pay tribute to the singer’s father.
