It’s the English club who take on the stars of the Garber scene this year and the celebrations kicked off with a friendly competition before the next day’s clash.

For some players it’s a great way to showcase the extent of their talent, and for others it’s an opportunity to go viral on the internet… for all the wrong reasons.

While entering the volleyball contest, Havertz made a fool of himself by not landing any of his 14 shots. Several attempts went wide while poorly shot balls were easily stopped by the MLS keeper.

Two shots hit the post in his defence. The local favorites finally prevailed thanks to the performances of Denis Bouanga and goalkeeper Tyler Miller.

Remember Arsenal paid 78 million euros or 115 million Canadian dollars for the German’s services. The Gunners snatched the 24-year-old from their London rival Chelsea.

During the 2022–23 season, Havertz scored nine goals in 47 games in all competitions.
