According to the Atlanta Journal constitution, which cited Cobb County police sources, the 25-year-old athlete refused to pay the waitress who asked for alcoholic beverages. After his arrest, he was released on $150 bail. At the request of the local newspaper, the organization Atlanta United only confirmed that they had read the file.

Robinson’s season ended on May 7 when the 2017 Major League Soccer Draft No. 2 tore his Achilles tendon during a game against the Chicago Fire. He was also expected to wear the United States uniform at the next FIFA World Cup. Elected to the Garber Tour All-Star squad last year, he was part of the eleven par excellence twice.
