Moiana described Vinny’s experience with trolls as “terrible” and said her sister received death threats from keyboard warriors.

The Aussie Survivor star made the comments while appearing on Talking Honey on Friday and opened up about bullying and parenting on social media.

Moana is married to Isabella Clastrom, who gave birth to a daughter, Svea, in 2020.

The couple welcomed their second child, son Ahi, in June.

When asked on the show how she would deal with the issue of online bullying, Moana said, “I was already privy to how she’s being bullied on social media, which is horrible.”

Vinny, Moana said, was “mocked” because of her disability.

“She’s received death threats,” said the reality star, “she’s got people making fun of her disability, she’s been teased for her squint. It’s terrible.’

She then added: “I always think – what happened to that bully that made her a bully? Children are not born tyrants. And I’m not trying to condone the behavior, but I’m just going to make sure my kids know their own worth.

Moana has been open about bullying in the past.

In August last year, the top athlete appeared on The Project and shared how people would approach her in public places and berate her “just for playing the sport she loves.”

“You would be in a mall and [have] People who abuse you,” she said to Lisa Wilkinson.

“They berate you and yell things at you … They get messages on social media telling them to ‘get back in the kitchen where they belong.'”
