Mollie King shared an adorable snap with her newborn daughter Annabella on Instagram on Sunday, after announcing the death of her father Stephen last week.
The former Saturdays singer, 35, was “indescribably heartbroken” after her father died just days after giving birth to their first baby.
Mollie revealed that she and her fiance, professional cricketer Stuart Broad, 36, have decided to give Annabella the middle name Hope as the newborn has “lightened up our lives”.

In the sweet snap, the radio host couldn’t help but smile as she held the newborn in the air while sitting in her lounge.
She donned a pair of comfy gray sweatpants and a chic, slim-fitting, coordinated t-shirt while letting her long blonde locks cascade down her back.
Alongside the snap, she wrote: “Annabella has given us a lot of hope these past difficult few months so Hope had to be one of her middle names.
“She was our sunshine and I know she will continue to brighten our lives.”

Alongside a picture of the couple, she wrote: “Thank you for all your kind messages about my father’s passing. It was really comforting to read. I can’t tell you how much it means that you took the time to get in touch with me.
“As I’m sure you can imagine, it’s an incredibly sad time and we’re doing our best to come together as a family to get through it.
“To everyone else who has lost a parent, I send you so much love. It’s a feeling like I’ve never experienced before. I hope your loved ones have helped you find strength.’
Last week, Mollie took to Instagram to break the sad news to her fans that her parents passed away on Thursday.
Sharing a heartfelt message, she wrote: “Indescribably heartbroken. In August, my family’s world was rocked when my father was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Last week we had to face the day we hoped would never come and say goodbye.

“Dad, we love you with all our hearts and will miss you every day. You were our hero and it’s impossible to think about our life without you.

“You gave us everything. You will be in our hearts and memories every day.”
Along with her words, the pop star shared a series of pictures of herself with her dad.

It comes just days after Mollie announced last week that she welcomed her first child into the world.

The star and her fiancé Stuart announced the news on social media that they had named their newborn Annabella.
Mollie posted a picture of herself kissing her daughter on the head and wrote: “Welcome to the world Annabella Broad. We’ve never been so in love.’
Mollie announced she was pregnant in June and shared last month that her baby was due on November 2nd.
She told Grazia: “It feels weird to say this because we’ve only just told the family, but we actually have a little girl!

“Having five nephews we were convinced we would have a little boy too, but we are overjoyed to find out it’s going to be a little girl.
“Obviously we would have been happy either way and I just want her to grow up knowing that she can be whoever she wants to be. I want her to know that the things she dreams about in bed can come true.”
The star also took to Instagram at the time to share heartwarming footage from the moment she and Stuart learned they were expecting a daughter.
Mollie uploaded the clip of herself in a form-fitting powder blue dress as she stood on either side of a large black balloon with her husband-to-be. Pink confetti rained down on them as they burst the Boy Or Girl balloon.

Mollie and Stuart first met through mutual friends in 2012 but didn’t get together until March 2018.
The couple briefly split five months later, but were spotted back together in February 2019 and confirmed they had reunited the following month.
Mollie revealed that Stuart had proposed on New Year’s Day 2021 during a romantic walk in Richmond Park.
