Forward Josh Anderson regained his level of play in December after a very difficult start to the season, which led to a Molson Cup victory for the Montreal Canadiens last month.
The 29-year-old winger scored nine points in 13 games and led the team with six goals. On December 4th, he finally broke the ice this year by scoring into an empty net.

Anderson was awarded the game's third star three times and had his best game on December 16 against the New York Islanders, where he received the first star after his two-goal performance. The Ontarian also received a nice ovation from the audience at the Bell Center.
While he was limited to two points in October and November, he has totaled 11 points in 37 games in 2023-2024. However, he may have to miss some time as he appeared to suffer an injury in Tuesday night's 4-3 win over the Dallas Stars.
