This is the moment Pete Doherty fled a London flat after a Cambridge graduate was allegedly thrown from a second floor balcony at a drugs party.
Aspiring actor Mark Blanco, 30, fell from the property in Whitechapel, east London, where the Libertines rock star had attended the party in December 2006.
CCTV footage showed Doherty – with his girlfriend Kate Russell-Pavier, 19, and his “carer” Jonathan Jeannevol, known locally as “Johnny Headlock” – walking past the body and then running away from the scene.
It came after Doherty was photographed with his daughter Billie-May and wife Katia De Vidas at a pub in London’s Belgravia two weeks ago on September 13.
During the Channel 4 documentary ‘Pete Doherty, Who Killed My Son?’ the dramatic video, which aired last night, was seen by Mr Blanco’s mother Sheila Blanco.
She said: “This is crucial evidence.” I prefer not to watch the film too often because this is the last time Mark was alive. It shows Mark being thrown over the railing and then directly onto the bricks and pavement below.

Party guest Naomi Stirk recalled that there was an “eerie” atmosphere that evening
“A few minutes later we see Pete Doherty come down and step over Mark without stopping.” And then he appears to pick something up from the ground and run away, followed by a headlock. It is an absolutely callous, reprehensible lack of humanity.”
Ms Blanco, who lives in Guildford, Surrey, also accused the Metropolitan Police of botching the investigation into her son’s death.
She told the program: “He was definitely knocked over, knocked over.” But the Metropolitan Police don’t want to find out what the truth is. It is not a mother’s job to investigate her son’s death. The Met had dismissed the CCTV as not relevant, but there is much more to see on that CCTV, but with a trained eye.”
The Met insisted it would carry out an investigation into all available evidence following Mr Blanco’s death, but added it would consider any new evidence.
Also during the documentary, party guest Naomi Stirk recalled that there was an “eerie” atmosphere that night and recalled seeing Mr. Headlock and a drug addict named Paul Roundhill, who lived in the apartment, attacking Mr .Blanco physically escorted out of the apartment property.
She also recounted how excited Mr. Blanco was after a dress rehearsal for his upcoming play “Accidental Death of an Anarchist.” Ms Stirk claimed he arrived at the flat with posters for the production and wanted Doherty to stop by.
Ms Stirk said: “Peter ended up almost pinned against the fireplace and Mark was just inches away from Peter, waving the play’s poster.”
“Peter waved his eyes at Jonny and Paul in a way they would understand to say, ‘help me out of here.'” So they physically escorted Mark out of the apartment.
“The atmosphere was eerie. From my seat you could see through the hallway and kitchen. I had a good view of the door so I could easily see who was there and who wasn’t. And there is one point for which I cannot explain the whereabouts of Jonny and Paul.’

She said another person in the apartment, Annabel Healdsmith, then decided she was leaving.
Ms Stirk added: “A few minutes later the phone rang and it was Annabel.” She said Mark was really unwell. I think we need to call an ambulance.
“I remember just holding his hand and trying to make sure he was comfortable because he was dying. ‘And of course you feel terribly helpless because there’s nothing you can do.’
Also during the broadcast, a respected FBI trainer claimed that Mr. Blanco was “murdered” and must have been thrown from the second floor balcony.
Grand Fredericks revealed how he used groundbreaking 3D technology to recreate Mr Blanco’s final moments at the party.
The documentary explained how Mr Blanco briefly left the party for the first time before returning. He was later found unconscious on the street under the ground floor balcony.
Mr Fredericks said he believed the footage suggested there was another person on the balcony before Mr Blanco’s death.
After examining the original footage of the fall, he used 3D and rear projection and overlaid the new film on the original images to take “a trip back in time.”
He said: “The rear projection clearly shows that there could not have been just one person on the balcony.”
“What I would see is that Mark came out and someone took Mark and threw him over the balcony. “If the measurements and the distance are correct, then Mark was thrown over the balcony, Mark was murdered.”

The expert further claimed that he had asked the Met to do reverse forecasting more than a decade ago, but they were unable to do so.
Meanwhile, John Kennedy, a forensic video analyst who worked on the James Bulger case, also said the footage suggested Mr Blanco had been pushed to his death.
“He didn’t seem to have control over his fall,” he said during the documentary. “I assumed he might have been unconscious when he came off the balcony.”
One of the six guests at the party also claimed for the first time that she too had reason to believe that Mark was killed.
Almost 17 years after her son’s death, Ms Blanco remains convinced that her son was pushed from the balcony.
She has called on the Met to reopen its investigation and re-interview those present that night.
“I always believed that whoever was in that apartment that night knew what happened,” she said.
“I just want to find out who was involved in Mark’s death and how he died. “There can be no question of a vendetta against anyone.”
The mother has spent years compiling dossiers of evidence and speaking to experts.
“It was my last promise to him,” she said. “I said I would find out what happened at any cost. “I have to do this so that what happened to Mark doesn’t happen to other people. Every death like this deserves due process.

“The police really need to be held accountable. Not just for my son, but for everyone who has an unexplained death.”
The documentary ended with Ms Blanco standing outside the Royal Albert Hall in London with a poster that read: “Pete Doherty, Who Killed My Son?”
At the end of the documentary, a short statement from Doherty was released which read: “I am sorry for the loss of Ms Blanco and I welcome any help people can give her to come to terms with what has happened.”
Doherty, 44, who was Kate Moss’ on-off boyfriend at the time, now lives in France with his singer husband Katia de Vides and their young daughter.
Mr Roundhill, who hosted the party, said: “Mark was my good friend. “I would not protect anyone involved in his death. My condolences and support go out to Shelia Blanco. “Mark and his family deserve justice.”
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “Our condolences go out to the family of Mark Blanco.” Following his death, police carried out an investigation into all available evidence.
“Following the initial investigation, the death was reviewed multiple times by the Met; Where areas for re-investigation have been highlighted, these have been taken forward by homicide detectives and we have carried out expert analysis of the CCTV footage.
“The investigation into the death is ongoing and any new evidence or information will be evaluated by detectives.”
