  • WARNING: SOOTHING CONTENT: Footage shows the moment Russian soldiers were annihilated by Ukrainian anti-tank weapons
  • Soldiers run through a field before three explosions kill them instantly
  • People online have speculated that the Stugna-P anti-tank missile shooter was used

Shocking footage captured the moment a group of Russian soldiers were struck by an insane ‘death ray’ weapon as they walked through a field.

In the video, a group of Russian soldiers can be seen walking through a field of detonated mines. But a few moments later, many are killed by Ukrainian troops and others are seriously injured.

Footage shows the weapon believed to be a Ukrainian anti-tank missile launcher blasting through the unit of soldiers, leaving a puff of smoke in its wake.

Dubbed Stugna-P, the weapon has pinpoint accuracy and can penetrate armor up to 800mm thick. It is laser guided and has a range of up to 5 km. It is believed to have been widely used by Ukrainian soldiers in the ongoing battle against Vladimir Putin’s troops.

The footage shows Russian soldiers rushing to the field to help those who were hit. But just moments later, they are hit by a second explosion as they carry the fallen across the field.

They then begin fleeing the field before being shot at a third and final time.

Footage then shows them being laid across the field, which is littered with black spots where mines have previously detonated.

Many people have taken to social media to find out what gun was used.

“Stugna-P by TOW I would guess,” wrote one. “These systems are usually reserved for armored vehicles.”

A TOW (Tube-launched, Optically tracked, Wire-guided) is an American anti-tank missile. They were primarily used during the war in Afghanistan in the early 2000s.

Another person speculated that it was “possibly a Stugna-P” that had been used, adding it was “a little overkill to use HEAT missiles”.

HEAT (High Explosive Anti Tank) missiles are shaped charge explosives designed to penetrate heavy armor and explode once embedded. These warheads were developed during World War II.

Others have suggested it could be a Bayraktar, an unmanned drone made in Turkey.

The latest video comes just weeks after more than 100 Russian troops were wiped out in a missile attack.

Using a Tochka-U missile, a weapon specially designed to hit smaller targets deep in enemy defenses, Ukraine was able to kill Russian soldiers with just one blast.

Elsewhere on Sunday, three people were killed and six injured in Russian rocket attacks on Kherson that damaged a hospital and a school, the regional administration said.

Strikes were also reported in Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city, in which an elderly woman was killed, according to regional governor Oleh Synehubov.

More rockets fell today and images from Kharkiv showed firefighters frantically trying to douse the flames amid the rubble of destroyed buildings.

Russian troops had occupied Kherson shortly after Moscow invaded Ukraine in February 2022 and held the city until Ukrainian troops recaptured it in November.

Since its liberation, the city has been regularly shelled by Russian positions across the Dnipro River.
