After the stolen photos and rumors about a joint film, Monica Bellucci confirmed: the actress’ new partner is Tim Burton.
The couple’s first “Paparazzati” shots – he is 64 and she is 58 – were released by Paris Match last February.
“What can I say… first of all, I’m glad I met this man,” Monica told Elle France. “It’s one of those encounters that are rare in life. I know the man, I love him, and now I’m going to meet the director. Another adventure begins.
Double endorsement: In addition to his collaboration with Tim, Bellucci reveals his involvement in his next project or the highly anticipated Beetlejuice sequel – Piggy Sprite.
Winona Ryder and Michael Keaton will return to the cast and among the new additions, alongside our Monica, will be Jenna Ortega, the Wednesday of the Burtonian series, a huge hit on Netflix.
“I love his world of dreams where even monsters are friendly,” adds Bellucci, “a world where we can turn our darkest sides into something bright, cathartic.” That’s what Tim Burton’s films are about.
As for the private relationship, he has two clear words: “I love Tim.” Finally: “And I have great respect for Tim Burton.”
