The latter shared his expectations for the next mayor of Montreal.
I just want to clarify something. My move to LCN was a cry from the bottom of my heart for me as a taxpayer. Above all, the city of Montreal needs a future mayor who won't replace Plante just because we don't want her there, just as we chose Plante because we didn't want her…

“Above all, the city of Montreal needs a future mayor who will not replace Plante just because we don't want her there, just as we elected Plante because we didn't want Coderre,” declares François Lambert.
The entrepreneur expressed his expectations for the next person to be appointed to Montreal City Hall.
“The next mayor of Montreal needs to deliver real services to taxpayers based on what we pay,” he says.
In his opinion, Mr. Lambert also cites the search for investors, the reduction in the number of civil servants and the free STM as criteria that the next mayor should fulfill.
“The next mayor of Montreal will have to confront and stop the socialism that is impoverishing Montreal,” echoes François Lambert.
Finally, the entrepreneur lowers his expectations regarding his possible candidacy in the next local elections.
“The next mayor of Montreal can accept this status and make it his election platform. Above all, I am an entrepreneur who is used to solving problems. It's in my DNA. But the town hall? I hope not …,” writes Mr. Lambert.
“If I could wake up a future mayor who is sleeping, I want us to vote for a mayor who will not be the default choice, and especially a mayor with courage. The status quo cannot exist,” he adds.
