Montreal double homicide: A man would have killed his father and mother

A 29-year-old man is said to have stabbed his father and mother before arriving at the hospital covered in blood and claimed his parents assaulted him in Montreal’s West Island on Wednesday night.

The terrible tragedy happened around 9:30 p.m. in a family home on Avenue des Érables in Île-Bizard.

According to our information, a family conflict broke out in the house that evening.

At one point, the 29-year-old suspect allegedly reached for a knife and murdered his father, Wayne Arnott, 60, and mother, Louise Boucher, 65.

The alleged perpetrator of this double murder then reportedly showed up covered in blood at Lakeshore General Hospital in Pointe-Claire.

According to our sources, he told medical staff that his parents attacked him with a baseball bat and then stabbed him.

Thanks to this crucial information, the police officers from the Service de Police de la Ville de Montréal were able to go to the victims’ address, where they discovered the two lifeless bodies.

The couple’s son, Mitchell Arnott, was arrested and was still being met by serious crimes investigators Thursday morning to tell his side of the story.

He could be formally charged with double murder within the next few hours.

Wayne Arnott and Louise Boucher became the 30th and 31st murder victims in Montreal this year.
