Moonbin, Member of K-Pop Group ASTRO, Dies at 25

Moon Bin, a member of the K-pop group Astro who was known professionally as Moonbin, has died at the age of 25, Entertainment Tonight reported.

Astro’s music label, Fantagio Music, confirmed the artist’s death on its official Twitter account. A cause of death was not given.

The label said it was deeply saddened by the unexpected death of Moon Bin.

“First of all, I apologize for the sad and heartbreaking news,” the group’s label said in a Explanation posted in Korean, after ET. “On April 19th, ASTRO member Moon Bin suddenly left us and became a star in the sky. It is incomparable to the grief of the bereaved who left behind their beloved sons and brothers, but all ASTRO members, Fantagio colleagues, executives and employees mourn the departed with such great sadness and sadness.”

The label asked fans to refrain from speculating as the 25-year-old’s family process the loss.

“It is all the more heartbreaking to bring you the sudden news to the fans who have been supporting Moon Bin and have given him lavish love. It’s more heartbreaking because I know the heart of the deceased who always loved the fans more and thought of them more than anyone. Moon Bin was a member of popular K-pop boy band ASTRO, who made their debut in 2016, Entertainment Tonight reported. The 25-year-old was the older brother of Moon Sua, a member of K-pop girl group Billie, according to Entertainment Tonight.
