For the business duo made up of David Robert and Nottaway Desjardins, nature is not only the most beautiful pantry, but also a place where a variety of ideas and projects can emerge, the common goal of which is to put more local products on people's plates in their community.

Already given the incredible momentum of the big announcements in 2023 such as the creation of Cultinova Inc. To unite the La Jardinière and Le Forestier brands under one roof, change the look of the website and launch the online store, the couple is pushing the Construction of an innovative growing room that will enable mushroom production all year round. Since this space is attached to the Jardinière building, it creates a symbiosis between the two spaces. The aim of this new stage is of course to continue to supply local customers and restaurateurs, but also retailers in the region who already sell La Jardinière products every year.

A passion to share

Proving that good news never comes easy is the fact that the couple recently told us that they are now part of the FSHEQ member speaker repertoire. A great association that promotes horticulture and ecology throughout Quebec. An organization that is close to their hearts and that inspires them deeply. A great opportunity for them to contribute in their own way to the great and beautiful mission of the organization by sharing their passions and knowledge with us.
