More than a hundred people were rescued by police in Beltrami County, Minnesota, after they became trapped in a block of ice that came loose from a river bank.
The incident occurred in the Upper Red Lake region of the Midwestern United States, where fishermen were stranded more than ten meters from the lake shore and unable to return to shore, according to the rescue team.
After two hours of operation, all 122 people were safely rescued without serious injuries. According to the UOL portal, four people fell into the water, but everyone was able to get out quickly.

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office emphasized that this is not the first incident in the area, as authorities have conducted similar rescues three other times in the past 15 days.
