More than 1,000 students and parents mourned the death of the 12-year-old boy, who was killed by his father along with his mother in their $2 million home in what police have described as a murder-suicide.
Investigators have speculated that Andrew Robinson, 56, shot and killed his wife Linda Robinson, 55, and their 12-year-old son Sebastian before he died at their $2 million mansion in Andover, Massachusetts, around 3 a.m. Thursday. pointed the gun at himself.
The school held the service to help their congregation mourn the 12-year-old, who they described loved playing his cello, which was on display along with one of his 6th grade projects.
“Sebastian was a compassionate and caring classmate,” said a teacher during the hour-long vigil at the Danvers school.

“It was very comforting,” said Anna Berrian, mother of Boston 25.
A sixth grader named Michael was close friends with Sebastian and told the outlet, “If I had two words to describe him: gentle giant,” Michael said. “He never really talked about his private life. I do not know what happened.’
Another student said: “I was stunned. I felt like I’d knocked the wind out of me.’
About 1,500 students were at St. John’s Thursday night while schools were canceled that day and Friday.
Linda, Sebastian and Andrew were found dead at their $2 million mansion in Andover, Massachusetts, after police received a sinister call from the house with a voice in the background saying, “Kill me now.”
Police arrived at the home and were told to tread carefully after a man was heard screaming and objects smashed in the background of the 911 call, a dispatcher told officers.
It’s still unclear who called, but the dispatcher claimed the caller didn’t answer.
Linda was an accountant and model, her uncle David Arsenault told The Boston Globe. “She was as angelic as they come.”
Linda’s father, Joseph Hachey, visited the home with his stepbrothers, David and Roger Arsenault. The three sat around the dining table and looked at photos of the family.
Hachey remembered Sebastian as “an angel”.
He recalled not seeing Linda that much when the pandemic hit, describing her life as “private.”
“They went and bought a big freezer and filled it with groceries, they hooked up the house with power generators,” Hachey said.

“I would ask my son [Steve], ‘Have you seen your sister?’ And he would say: ‘Who?’ Linda went into hibernation.’
It’s unclear when Linda last saw her family, but Hachey recalls that Steve saw Sebastian last March. A photo was taken of him with a mask.
Neighbors were woken by the alarm at the Robinsons’ home as officers entered.
“They had to break down two doors to get in,” Andover Police Chief Patrick Keefe said. ‘They went into the house. They found the father, mother and 12-year-old son dead.
“The wounds are from gunshots. We know the how, now we’re trying to figure out why.”
Janean and Andy Sullivan, 42 and 44, have a direct view of the Robinsons’ home and watched police go through the home with flashlights.
“We didn’t know if it was a burglary, but I just knew something bad had happened,” Janean told the news outlet.

The family has been described as “private” and Chief Keefe added there were no previous reports from the home.
Records from Redfin show the four-bedroom home was last sold in 2003 for $1,338,000. Zillow announced that the property has since increased in value by more than $2 million.

Sebastian was identified as a sixth grader at St. John’s Preparatory School. Officials announced his death Thursday and canceled classes for all students.
“Our community is heartbroken at the tragic loss of Sebastian,” St. John’s Headmaster Edward Hardiman said at a news conference at the school. “Sebastian was a wonderful young man. He had a friendly and gentle demeanor and was very popular with his teachers. Exceptionally creative.”
Hardiman added, “He was just a really wonderful kid with a great nature.”
Andrew worked at Channel Building Co until he quit six months ago, the news outlet reported.
Linda’s former neighbor mourned her death and revealed the time they spent together when they were younger.
“I’m speechless, I lived next door to Linda as a child and sometimes snuck into her garden to play and it saddens me to hear that her and her son’s lives were taken so quickly,” the neighbor wrote.
