More than 30,000 Palestinians killed by Israeli aggression in Gaza and West Bank

More than 30,000 Palestinians have lost their lives in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank as a result of Israeli military actions in the three months since the latest spiral of violence began, a senior leader of the Palestinian Hamas movement said in a statement. Lebanon, Osama Hamdan.

The death toll in the Palestinian enclave stands at 29,722, including at least 10,000 children and 7,000 women, the Hamas politburo member said at a news conference in the Lebanese capital Beirut.

There are now a total of 58,166 injured and over 7,000 missing.

He estimated that the total number of dead, injured and missing represents about 4% of Gaza's population.

According to Hamas officials, 321 people have died in clashes with the Israeli military in the West Bank since October 7, including 111 children and 4 women.

Although at least 6,000 wounded need to be evacuated abroad for treatment, only 650 have managed to leave the Gaza Strip so far, Hamdan said.
