©Portal. More than 600 companies show their offers at international trade fairs in Panama
Panama City, March 28 (.).- More than 600 companies from Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa and Asia will present their commercial offer from this Tuesday to next Thursday in three exhibitions organized by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture become Panama (CCIAP).
These are the International Tourism Expo, the Panama Logistics Expo and the Expocomers, which were inaugurated this Tuesday at the Panama Convention Center on the Pacific side of the Panama Canal in the presence of Panamanian President Laurentino Cortizo.
“The organizing commission expects between 12,000 and 15,000 national and international visitors from more than 600 companies from nearly 30 countries, who will try to strengthen their businesses and promote business contacts and trade exchanges,” said the chamber.
Food, Beverage & Agricultural Products Companies Participate in Expocomer; Textiles, clothing and accessories; technology and electronics; and medical equipment and supplies.
They are companies from Argentina, Barbados, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Korea, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, United States, France, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay , Peru, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, the People’s Republic of China, Taiwan, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey and Venezuela according to official figures.
Exhibitors and buyers from Argentina, Costa Rica, Cuba, Indonesia, Panama, Peru, the Dominican Republic and Indonesia take part in Expoturismo from the areas of conference, congress and event tourism, among others; in leisure, adventure and multi-destination products.
The Expologística will be attended by 100 national and international companies and exhibitors, as well as buyers from 10 countries from the fields of maritime services, shipping companies, freight agents, ports, customs, warehousing, transport, consolidators, software and application developers, technology, equipment manufacturers and machines, said the CCIAP.
The Expocomer, Expo Logística and Expo Turismo held in March 2022 registered trade deals worth around $127.7 million, the Chamber of Commerce reported at the time.
