Usher and Shakira turned on each other
Morgan Wallen stood out during the sixth season of The Voice in the USA in 2014. Although Blake Shelton, a major player in the country music world, was among the blind audition judges, it was Usher and Shakira who swiveled their chairs to recruit Wallen.
Usher was also very complimentary of his young protégé, who was 20 at the time, saying he had “the potential to be a star no matter what style he chooses.” »
Wallen signed his first record deal a few months after leaving The Voice.
He reached the Whitney Houston mark
In January 2021, Wallen presented his second album, Dangerous: The Double Album. This project will spend its first 10 weeks of life at the top of the Billboard 200; a first since Whitney Houston’s album Whitney, released in 1987.
The Billboard Music Awards did not fail to underline the success of this work, awarding the singer from Tennessee the awards for Best Country Artist, Best Male Country Artist and Best Country Album.

Morgan Wallen’s third release One Night At A Time, unveiled in March 2023, also made history on the Billboard charts.
Just two weeks after the album’s release, all 36 songs made it onto the Billboard Hot 100. The record was previously owned by Drake (27 songs) and Taylor Swift (26 songs).
He writes for big names in the music industry
Morgan Wallen’s virtuosity doesn’t stop with his voice. In fact, he has lent his pen to several industry greats, including Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line and Keith Urban.
A duo with Luke Combs soon?
Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs are considered the two biggest country singers in the world right now, and they have no intention of making each other’s lives difficult.
The two artists have never hesitated to compliment each other by sharing covers of their respective hits on social media, and Luke Combs even chimed in in an interview, mentioning that he and Wallen were expecting the perfect one to find Song to officially join forces.
Morgan Wallen will be at the Videotron Center in Quebec on September 22nd and the Bell Center in Montreal the next day as part of his One Night At A Time world tour.
