On Saturday morning, “Ukrainian forces deliberately hit the local hospital building with Himars rocket launchers in the town of Novoaidar, Lugansk region,” the Russian army said in a statement.
The strike “killed 14 patients and medical workers and injured 24,” she said.
The facility’s doctors “provided medical assistance to the civilian population as well as the military for several months,” according to the same source.
“A deliberate strike against a known civilian medical facility appears to constitute a serious war crime by the Kiev regime,” the statement added.
