Most mobilized Russians in Belarus are ill and often have conflicts with Belarusians

There is an outbreak of disease among Russian conscripts in Belarus as Russia fails to comply with public health requirements.

details: Defense Intelligence reported that units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, consisting mainly of so-called partially mobilized citizens, continue to be stationed on the territory of Belarus. Their main task is to prepare the equipment depots and locations of the occupying forces.

“Meanwhile the “chmobiki” [a nickname for the men drafted in the recent partial mobilisation in Russia -ed.] are forced to live in unsuitable conditions. Most of the time, they live in field tents that lack adequate sanitation,” the report says.

Currently, there is a large-scale outbreak of various diseases among these military personnel. These are primarily respiratory diseases (bronchitis, sore throat, pneumonia, asthma attacks) and gastrointestinal infections.

Quote: “Currently, the diseases are so widespread that Belarusian doctors cannot cope with their sheer numbers. The occupiers are forced to urgently send military and mobilization doctors from the Russian Federation to Belarus.

In the near future, another unit of medical personnel is expected to arrive at the 230th Combined Arms Training Area of the Western Operations Command of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus (Obuz-Lesnovsky). The spread of diseases there is very closely linked to non-compliance with basic requirements for military camps to ensure hygiene, quality nutrition and medical care.

More details: The secret service also reported that tensions between the militaries of the two states are increasing in Belarus. Numerous conflict situations arise from the contemptuous attitude of the Russian military towards the Belarusians.

“The military police of the Republic of Belarus cannot suppress the inappropriate behavior of the Russians. In particular, the reports submitted by senior officers of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus in response to complaints from their enlisted soldiers indicate derogatory speech and behavior by Russians towards Belarusians. In particular, they use insults based on ethnic characteristics. The number of such incidents is increasing rapidly, leading to an uncontrolled escalation of tensions in Belarus,” the Main Intelligence Bureau of Ukraine reported.
