The mother of Salvador Ramos, the gunman at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, was caught on video getting into an argument with relatives of one of the students killed. In the fragment he realized that his son was a “coward”.
In the video recorded by the Telemundo network, the altercation between the relatives of one of the victims and Adriana Martínez, mother of Ramos, author of the May 24 shooting in Uvalde in which 19 children and two teachers died, is observed.

The images show Martínez walking down one of the streets of Uvalde. Suddenly, she is confronted by relatives of Amerie Jo Garza, one of the dead.

While relatives accused Ramos of being a “murderer,” the woman responded, assuring that they had no right to “condemn” their heir.
Martínez tried to flee and threatened to call the police, but several women continued to reprimand her. The woman can be seen talking on a mobile phone and waiting for an answer while at the same time continuing the conversation.
“I’m tired of people coming after me. It’s not my fault,” Martinez said over the phone.

Dana Mendiola, Garza’s grandmother, told Telemundo that the shooter’s mother “is not innocent (…). She raised him that way. She knew what he was like. She knew he had guns,” he said.
In conclusion, Salvador Ramos’ mother assured: “I know that my son was a coward, I know it.”
Police arrived at the scene, escorted Martínez and told the victim’s family not to go near her.
The findings of the investigation into the shooting have increased the unease of the community, who have criticized the authorities’ handling of the massacre.
