While relatives accused Ramos of being a “murderer,” the woman responded, assuring that they had no right to “condemn” their heir.

Martínez tried to flee and threatened to call the police, but several women continued to reprimand her. The woman can be seen talking on a mobile phone and waiting for an answer while at the same time continuing the conversation.

“I’m tired of people coming after me. It’s not my fault,” Martinez said over the phone.

Dana Mendiola, Garza’s grandmother, told Telemundo that the shooter’s mother “is not innocent (…). She raised him that way. She knew what he was like. She knew he had guns,” he said.

In conclusion, Salvador Ramos’ mother assured: “I know that my son was a coward, I know it.”

Police arrived at the scene, escorted Martínez and told the victim’s family not to go near her.

The findings of the investigation into the shooting have increased the unease of the community, who have criticized the authorities’ handling of the massacre.
