Mother of twins calls police to fingerprint and distinguish children, faces criticism

A woman living in Mendoza (Argentina) went viral on social networks after admitting to having it contacted police to get fingerprints to distinguish the identical twins. Lorenzo and Valentin were born a month and a half ago.

“I have to go to the police for fingerprints and they tell me which is which. I won the Mother of the Year award.”wrote Sofi Rodríguez on Twitter.

But after receiving the fingerprints, doubts remained: they could not be configured in the system.

“I don’t know what’s what, and I need to know to follow the chart. In the photos they look different but that’s because they come from different angles or the light makes them different, in person they are the same.”She added.

In this case, newborns receive an identification element. There could be a colored ribbon for each child, which in this case they did, but once they were removed, the chaos has subsided. Each kid wore a different bodysuit… but they threw up. She They undressed Valentín and Lorenzo to clean them and there was no way of knowing who was who.

Sofi posted photos to Twitter to show her daily “choke”:

Sofia’s incident brought her numerous criticisms and reactions. Many of them in a mocking tone or even question their maternal qualities.

“Obviously it’s a generation of parents that has only one screen in their heads, they shouldn’t even look at their children for 10 minutes to distinguish them by their characteristics. A mother certainly knows how to distinguish them, but that’s the only thing , what matters is getting more likes and being on TV.”She posted a critic in the newspaper “Perfil”.

The negative wave prompted Sofi to send a message with photos of the little ones and “A kiss to all parents who think they are perfect”.
