He was taken to the hospital for a checkup and the official MotoGP website confirmed that he had been declared unfit to race for health reasons after suffering a concussion.
Dr. Angel Chart said, “Mark is fine. During the warm-up, he had a severe energy failure, as a result of which he received a head injury. First we examined him here, and then we sent him to a hospital in Lombok.
“He underwent several x-ray tests that were negative. In agreement with the rider and the team, and due to the fact that this type of pathology requires an observation period of 12 to 24 hours, the rider, the MotoGP team and the medical staff have decided to declare it unfit.”

Due to the extreme temperatures in Mandalik, Michelin brought with them a stiffer tire casing, last used in 2018, to try to cope with the conditions after the 2022 tire design pre-season test in Indonesia ran into problems.
However, the stiffer body has caused serious rear-clutch problems for a number of riders.
Honda’s lack of rear traction was evident throughout the weekend in Indonesia, as Marquez suffered repeated blows from behind during the sessions, including during warm-ups before a major crash.
