Shortly before 5 pm, a 74-year-old man from the district of Weiz was driving his motorcycle on the L 225 from Feldbach towards Markt Hartmannsdorf. The driver left the road on a sharp right-hand bend after probably misjudging his direction and ended up on a grass verge.
Seriously injured
He then drove up a steep embankment, overturned the motorcycle and finally stopped in an adjacent field. The 74-year-old man suffered serious injuries to his hip and thigh. The man received first aid from the emergency doctor and was then taken to LKH Feldbach.
