She currently appears as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing.
But Motsi Mabuse appears to be in high demand as the bosses of the US version of the show, Dancing With The Stars, are reportedly hoping that she will join the judging panel for next season.
Reportedly looking for “fresh new energy,” the professional dancer, 41, would replace current judge Len Goodman, 78, who is retiring.
From Strict to the Stars? Motsi Mabuse could be set for a move to the States as Dancing With The Stars bosses reportedly want her on the judging panel
According to The Mirror, sources say executives see Motsi as the “Live Wire” and hope to bring that to the show, which is now on Disney+.
A TV insider told them: “Motsi is an outspoken and lively character. She is loved in Britain for being a strong, independent spirit… someone who stands up for herself.
“With Disney’s push for greater diversity, it would be a strong hiring,” a source reportedly added.

The casting process is reportedly “secretly underway” and if Motsi were to take on the new role, it would mean juggling her positions on the US and UK panels, or giving up the latter.
It’s not uncommon for the two competitions to share judges, with Bruno Tonioli, 67, appearing on both shows from 2005 until earlier this year, when he left Strictly to focus on Dancing With The Stars.
The Italian choreographer joined both shows from their start dates but was unable to perform on Strictly due to Covid-19 restrictions and his commitment to the 2020/21 US show.

Earlier this year, he announced that the exertion of traveling back and forth was too much and decided to just focus on his time in the US.
While Len also acted as the head judge on Strictly until he left the show in 2012, and has since appeared on Dancing With The Stars before announcing his retirement earlier this year.
And the backup role could be perfect for mother-of-one Motsi, who was previously a judge on Let’s Dance – the German version of Strictly.
Judges: Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Derek Hough of the US Jury
She joined the UK show as a professional dancer in 2019 before moving on to the judging panel – where she now joins head judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke.
But there could be competition for the spot as Shirley has also recently been rumored for a move.
According to The Sun, a source said: “Len’s exit leaves a big hole in the panel, but the show team think Shirley would be a really great addition.
“Her experience is unrivaled and she has made no secret that she would like to spend more time with her son Mark, who lives in the US with his wife Brittany.
“She could keep both her Strictly job and a new role on Dancing with the Stars — just like Len has for years.”
