Sugar’s funeral will take place on Monday afternoon at the Church of San Marco in Milan, privately, by decision of the family, who during these hours have opted for the strictest confidentiality.
The union with Caterina Caselli –
Piero Sugar and Caterina Caselli met very young and married in 1970 when she was 24 years old. The following year their son Filippo was born. In 1989, Caterina Caselli founded Sugar Insieme-Sugar, later Sugar. Currently the company is managed by Filippo, former president of Siae from 2015 to 2018. Among the team’s artists are Andrea Bocelli, Malika Ayane, the Negramaro, Raphael Gualazzi, Madame, Motta, Sangiovanni.
