A multimillionaire and his wife are helping to fund groups supporting pro-Palestinian protests following the October 7 Hamas terrorist attack on Israel.
Neville Roy Singham, a US-born entrepreneur who made millions by founding and selling an IT consulting firm called Thoughtworks, and his wife Jodie Evans, co-founder of the left-wing anti-war group Code Pink, were the main financiers of According to a report by Francesca Block from The Free Press, there has been a group called The People’s Forum since 2017. The group describes itself as a “movement incubator for working class and marginalized communities” and “fosters the next generation of visionaries and organizers who believe that through collective action, a new world is possible.”
The Popular Forum has played a role in organizing several pro-Palestinian protests since the Oct. 7 Hamas attack, in which the terror group’s members killed at least 1,200 Israelis and took over 200 hostages from southern Israel to the Gaza Strip.
On the day of the Hamas attack, the group appeared not to condemn the terror group’s actions, calling for an end to “US aid to the Zionist occupation” and tweeting images of posters reading “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.” ” — a slogan that has been criticized as anti-Semitic and was cited in the House criticism of Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich.

Another pro-Palestine protest, organized in part by the People’s Forum, is planned for November 17. Rep. Mike Gallagher, R-Wisc., chairman of the Special Committee on Strategic Competition between the U.S. and the Chinese Communist Party, told The Free Press: “The Chinese Communist Party uses tools like Confucius Institutes on college campuses and the “TikTok’s addictive algorithm.” and organizations like those Mr. Singham funds to divide and weaken America.”
Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Florida, sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland in August asking the Department of Justice (DOJ) to investigate whether Singham and the groups he supports are violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). Supporting CCP organizations.

“It appears that organizations affiliated with Neville Roy Singham, a U.S. citizen, have received instructions from the CCP,” Rubio wrote. “Mr. Singham is the founder of Thoughtworks, a Chicago-based software consulting firm, and has promoted far-left causes for many years. Mr. Singham reportedly created a black money system that allowed him to send funds to a number of far-left organizations.”
Among the groups Rubio asked the DOJ to investigate possible FARA violations were The People’s Forum, Dongsheng News and Code Pink.
